His name is whispered in some corners of the great city of Messus- invoked in prayers and pleas for him to guide loved ones onwards safely or aid lost souls. Few know that there's a real ketucari behind the legend, and he's content to keep it that way. (After all, he lives in a world where his identity getting out would be rather dangerous for him.)
The few people who get to meet him in person find something far different than what one might expect from the tales told about him. He's irreverent, arrogant, and frankly insufferable- he's got a razor sharp wit and not much care for what others think of him. (And frankly, he rather enjoys getting on people's nerves.) Under it all, however, he's extremely intelligent and knowledgable, and has rather refined tastes. Usually three steps ahead of everyone else. The sort of person who makes backup plans for his backup plans and will cheerfully throw it all out the window if he gets a better opportunity.  

Despite his self-imposed isolation and deliberate abrasiveness, he's actually quite lonely. Just... don't expect him to ever admit to it.
