Character: Cordelia spent nearly half of her life under the Baron's thumb. She worked as a madame, managing his brothel and keeping his assets in the black. But one day, something in her snapped. She could no longer turn a blind eye to the horrors she had condoned. Collaborating with the Baron's illegitimate daughter Sorokina, the pair planned and executed a dramatic escape, reducing one of his buildings to ash and crippling a hefty chunk of the Baron's finances. They were free. It would've been easy to simply disappear into Velukaelo, never set eyes on another criminal again. But there were so many mobsters like him, so many other slaves like them out in the world. Sorokina was skeptical, but Cordelia, now calling herself Madame Vindicta, knew they had the perfect opportunity in their paws. Madame Vindicta runs her own gang now. She calls them her butterflies, emerged from their cocoons into beautiful new individuals. She taught them to fight, to lie, and to help any creature being held against its will. They would never be victims, ever again. Not on her watch.
