Ketryal was dropped off at Gestirn's tent by his father Tsarei; as the older male regarded him as nothing more than a burden. However Ketryal had seemed pretty enough that Tsarei had decided to bring him to someone who would have more use of him than simply killing the cub. Gestirn raised the boy and after he had managed to buy himself out of slavery, he became one of her most trusted employees. Ketryal is generally mild mannered and friendly.
