Sunwashed
Examples
Basics
•Sunwashed is the restriction of pigment in the ketucari's feathers, fur, skin, and eyes.
• In your ketucari's genotype, Sunwashed is denoted by the letters "nSwd" (heterozygous) or "SwdSwd" (homozygous).
• Sunwashed is a White Marking.
• In its heterozygous form, sunwashed has a pass rate of 10%. Homozygous sunwashed has a 35% pass rate.

Color
Sunwashed ketucari are nearly completely white. Markings and base coat will show with only minimal pigment and saturation. Unlike with albinism the markings will show.
"Lighter than" markings are optional on all but the darkest base coats.
"Darker than" markings are optional on the darkest base coats.
Sunwashed affects the base coat by restricting the coat and markings to below 50% Value and 45% Saturation.
Please be sure you are designing in a colormode that is "HSV" or "HSL" and not "V-HSV" (mostly an issue in Sai)
If you have an art program that does not allow you to see the actual HSV numbers, please refer to the visual guides at the bottom of this section.
Depending on base coat (this will not work for Charcoal, dark Glaciers, darker Reds, or dark Amethysts) you may be able to design Sunwashed by copying your base coat layer, recoloring it to pure white, putting it over all other markings, and setting it to 10 to 50% Opacity.
Below are sample sliders for the MAXIMUM saturation and value of all unmodified basecoats. Your selected base-coat may be lighter or less saturated than this. You may also pull from the albino slider.

Below is an slider of acceptable saturations and values for markings. Markings should still follow their normal color rules.
My Art Program Doesn't give me numbers?
No fear!Kitsu made a quick visual guide using Krita's HSV colorwheel as an example! Again please be sure youa re designing in an HSV environment, and not an HSL one (this mostly goes to Sai users).
The sectioned off portions of the color wheel are the acceptable range for markings on Sunwashed. There is some wiggle room.

Flesh and Horn Color
Like with Albino, Sunwashed affects the flesh and horn color of a ketucari.
Flesh must be a pale natural color or white. If affected by Display (or in the case of Ketixi, Flourishing Display) it must remain pastel.
Horns must be white, pale beige, very pale tans, or pinks, (or pull from a color found on the ketucari).
Eye Color
Sunwashed is not nearly as restrictive about eye color. All eye colors are acceptable as long as they are below 50% saturation.
HOWEVER:
Red, purple, and blue may be fully saturated.
Examples
NOTE: The ketucari below has not had its claws, eyes, or skin edited.Sunwashed buff with oil, colorize, brindle, jovian, void.
• Radiance and any marking being actively modified by should be a pastel color.
•Sunwshed cannot be inherited along with another color mutation. When breeding two color mutated ketucari, cubs can only inherit one of the mutations.
Instead of a 50% Maximum value, Patchwork Sunwashed has a 30% minimum Value (except for White Markings, which may remain white)
Eye colors should be darker.

Skin can be chow tongue blue, dark and desaturated browns, or shades of black.

And once more for those without a program that does HSV readings!
