Examples

 Basics

Bullet; White Ringneck is a single, rounded ring of any color which bands around the ketucari's neck. It is based on ringneck birds and snakes, such as the ringneck pheasant, mallard bird, ringneck snake, and ringneck parrot.
Bullet; White In your ketucari's genotype, ringneck is denoted by the letters "nRg" (heterozygous) or "RgRg" (homozygous).
Bullet; White In its heterozygous form, ringneck has a pass rate of 65%. Homozygous ringneck has a 80% pass rate.

Color Shape and Range

Ringneck by Matriarchs-Haunt

Range:
The colored area on the chart above is the available area for ringneck to appear; the marking may not be placed outside this area. Where it is positioned within this area is up to the designer, however.

The minimum and maximum thickness of the ringneck is shown by the red and blue rings on the neck.

Color:
Ringneck may be any color, so long as it is clearly visible against the rest of the body.

Shape:
Ringneck must be a single rounded band around the neck. It may not come to a point or bend except to fit the neck's shape, and there may not be multiple rings.

Interaction with Other Genes

Ringneck must be shown above hood and must be below piebald variations and other white marks. All other genes may be shown above or below ringneck.

Accents

Ringneck may have two colors, with one inside the other.
