Vent

Examples

 Basics

Bullet; White Vent consists of vertical or horizontal ovals or lines that travel down the ketucari's sides. It is said that this marking is a divine marking
that resembles the vents on the sides of Garoch, the god of destruction -- hence the name.
Bullet; White In your ketucari's genotype, vent is denoted by the letters "nV" (heterozygous) or "VV" (homozygous).
Bullet; White In its heterozygous form, vent has a pass rate of 55%. Homozygous vent has a 80% pass rate.

Color and Shape

Vent can be any color, even vibrant colors. You may use up to two colors in vent. Vent may not look like scarring. As well, be sure that vent doesn't look too much like thin scratches. If admins can't see it upon first glance, it will not pass.

Vents may be vertical:

Or horizontal:

If using the horizontal option, be sure that there are noticeable breaks in between the vents.

Range

Range for vent. There is no minimum pictured, but like all markings it must be immediately noticeable in the design. Below is the area where vent can appear.

Interaction with Other Markings

Bullet; White All markings can be layered under or over vent.
Bullet; White Vent can be influenced by vapor and inferno.
Bullet; White If your ketucari has the ember gene, you may connect ember and vent as seen on this ketucari (who also displays the vapor combination):

Accents

Here are some small accents you can add to your designs to make them more unique!

Bullet; White Vent may have a subtle gradient, like below:
