Bunny

EXAMPLES

Real life examples can be seen on Californian rabbits:

 BASICS

Bullet; White Bunny is an addition of color to the ketucari's ears, and optionally their nose. It can be hard-edged or soft-edged.
Bullet; White In your ketucari's genotype, bunny is denoted by the letters "nBun" (heterozygous) or "BunBun" (homozygous).
Bullet; White In its heterozygous form, bunny has a pass rate of 55%. Homozygous bunny has a 80% pass rate.

COLOR

Bunny can be any color, and can use up to two different colors. Bunny can be hard-edged, soft-edged, or fully blended out.

tick

These are all acceptable colors for bunny.

RANGE

Blue denotes the maximum range for bunny. Green is the minimum amount of bunny that must be present- though it does not need to be the inside of the ear. It could be on the outside of the ear, or even a splash on the ear and a splash on the nose. Bunny must be present somewhere on the ears though. Presentation on the nose at all is entirely optional. If using black or white as the color for bunny, please ensure it is placed somewhere outside of the min white and black range so it is not confused.

INTERACTION WITH OTHER MARKINGS

Bullet; White All markings can be layered under or over bunny.
Bullet; White When both bunny and karpati are present, up to 50% of karpati may take on a gradient of the color from bunny.
Bullet; White Bunny has an interaction with Dun called English Spot.

When both the dun gene and bunny are present, the dun stripe may take on the coloration of bunny! Additionally, 1-4 small spots of the same color(s) may be added to the ketucari.
