This zone is sacred and may not be adventured in. Only RENOWNED AND ELDERS may enter.
Those ketucari of certain lineage may approach the Elder Isle to face the tests of their ancestor and gain special skills.
This island, north of Aegrus and Darsha, has long been called a sacred ground, belonging to no one guardian or god. The land around the lakes is lush and riddled with the local fauna, vestiges of the gods. No one knows how these creatures formed, only that they originate from this land and it is here they are strongest, having some of the abilities of their guardian counterparts and the ability to grow larger while feeding off the energies of their home.
This isn't why ketucari roam this land however; the most notable feature is the glass lakes, said to show flashes and fragments of history to those who stare long enough into their depths. A select few, those of lineages recognized by the island, may find that these lakes hold even more for them though.
Resources
Native Fauna
Vestiges are the only creatures that roam this land, and while on this soil they carry a fraction power of their guardian, power they largely lose when they wander off the isle to the call of their guardian's raid. Some are friendly creatures, willing to become companions to the ketucari who defeat their guardian and show themselves strong, but don't trust the vestiges of the isle. A group of vestiges here may combine their power, creating impersonations of guardians who will challenge the ketucari testing themselves in the Mirror Lakes.
Lineage Skill Unlocks
If your ketucari has a lineage founder visible in their lineage, they may unlock their special skill.
A ketucari seeking to learn a lineage skill must be Renowned, and should submit to the relevant prompt onsite a piece depicting them learning or utilizing their special skill, with the same requirements as a standard skill unlock. Some skills also have quests, that only Ketucari who have learned them can performed. Those can be found in the section below.
A ketucari may only learn ONE lineage skill, even if they have access to multiple.

Lineage Skill Quests
Special Quests are available to ketucari with the ancestor visible in their lineage.
Those who seek to earn the skills of their lineage may step into the lakes, transforming the world around them. Time recognizes the blood of those gifted with skills unlike others, and the world fades away, leaving those brave enough to try in a world of the isles creation. It may all be an illusion, maybe it's a zone that only exists outside of time, or maybe it's magic pure and simple. Don't underestimate the dangers within the world though, as vestiges also wander these mirror realms in the form of guardians and real harm may come at the hands of the mirror's constructions.
The quests below can only be taken by ketucari who have learned their ancestor's lineage skill:
Legacy of the Winter King
Quest Giver
Tauratu's Mirror says :
"Welcome to the Kanibar of Aegrus past, my child. I know you were not prepared for the cold, but I have no doubt my descendants can handle a small chill. Gunagi, the fearsome warlord of the Hibridi, is taking this land by force in a war of Dasrah magics and slaughter. History may already show the outcome of this war, but that does not mean you cannot join the fight against him.
You may not blessed with the same magics I am, but I will teach you one of my skills, wield it with dignity and wisdom fitting of our name. Go and freeze this Hibridi in his tracks."
Quest Rewards:
1x Pouch of Raw Materials
20 Gold
• Depict your ketucari joining the fight against the uprising Hibridi king and using the skills of their ancestor to freeze the warrior to give your fellow fighters time to attack. Don't get caught in his Dasrah magics.
The Inner You
Before continuing, you should be aware that this comes with a cost:
-10 to all stats, including armor (unless it brings the armor under 50, in which case it stops dropping at 50)
If you still wish to proceed with changing your "Build", here is how:
Step One: Gathering 5 Sacred Items
On the adventure page, under the "venture" category, you will see that your ketucari has the opportunity to find sacred items that can be offered to the gods in order to win their favor. These items can also drop from battles in each zone. If five different sacred items are gathered and brought to Elder Isle, a ketucari may change their build.Beginner Zones contain runestones, prism scales, vials of ichor, hibridi effigies, tainted crystals, essences of faith, draconid fossils, unknown tomes, soulseeds, and pulsing amulets.
Medium Zones contain king's blood, Letonian wheat, soul prisons, bloodoath insiginias, luminescent insignias, sacred fruit, fragments of Oreki's orb, ancestral relics, aged wine, and mysterious statuettes.
Harsh Zones contain legendary hides, forged elemental cores, ornate eggs, blooms of divinity, Lucedarian silk, enemy heads, automaton parts, binding ink, canopic jars, and ceremonial swords.

Post them >Here< when you have all three ready!

Innate Talents
This island's power, to those who know how to use it, can grant great boons... for those who possess a special talent of their own, it can pass on the gift to one's descendants.
Step One: Reaching Elder
A ketucari must be elder in order to unlock the ability to originate a lineage skill.Step Two:
There are two quests you must perform in order to unlock your ketucari's innate talent:- You must depict your ketucari discovering, developing, or unlocking their hidden talent. Standard group requirements apply.
- You must depict your ketucari either teaching their talent to one of their descendants, or demonstrating it to a starter. For this purpose, a descendant is a ketucari elegible to learn your lineage skill-- an uploaded ketucari that has the ketucari undertaking this quest visible on their lineage. Standard group requirements apply.
Step Three:
Submit your two pieces under the "Lineage Skill Quest" prompt onsite, with the form below filled out.Desired Lineage Skill name:
Desired Lineage Skill description and effects:
Valid lineage skills should follow these guidelines:
- Your lineage skill is similar to existing gameplay (such as enhancing or reproducing the effects of existing skills or items; or offering an effect similar to an existing bounty)
- Your lineage skill should not duplicate the effect of a legendary item unless the effect is purely cosmetic (cosmetic items include flip coins, darhaskos' talisman, and nature scrolls)
- These item effects are not legal to be mimicked without restrictions: most consumables with large gameplay affects (consider breeding boosters like dominance potions and activity doublers like dynamite and magic arrow), if being able to use them unrestrictedly would have a negative impact on game balance.
- Other, more unique effects are legal but subject to admin discussion and approval, and should have minor effects on gameplay (such as slightly reducing the requirements for another game activity)
- There are no rules creating a lineage skill that mimics the effect of another existing lineage skill, but it should have a different lore approach if so.
If there are any issues with your proposed skill, the admins will communicate with you using comments on your prompt submission to tweak it to suit the game! Once approved, your lineage skill will be added to your ketucari's import, and any uploaded descendants will be able to learn it provided they have reached Renowned.
