Wrought

 BASICS

• Wrought is the presense of unnatural, filigree, angular and abstract tattoo, and fence-like patterns along a ketucari's sides.
It is marked by unnatural shapes and a halo.
In your ketucari's genotype, wrought is denoted by the letters "nWro" (heterozygous) or "WroWro" (homozygous).
• In its heterozygous form, barring has a pass rate of 40%. Homozygous barring has a 65% pass rate.
• IMPORTANT: While typically Tattoo Inks are not allowed to replicate markings, Tattoo Inks are expressly permitted to replicate Wrought.

COLOR

Wrought may be any color, up to two. These must presend either as a gradient or as defined shapes and patterns within the wrought.

Max two colors, no mixing of gradients with patterns

3 colors and a mix of gradient and pattern.
(Overall shapes are also more suited to Lampworked but could be made with Wrought if made pointier)

RANGE

Since wrought can appear anywhere on the body, there is no minimum range diagram for it. It must cover enough of the body that it is immediately recognizable.

SHAPE

Wrought's shape is a little harder to define and is best described as "decorative fence", "art nouveau", and "lacelike". It tends to resemble heavily stylized, abstract and angular tattoos.
It should be made up primarily of contiguous bands or clustered stripes. Bands are allowed to have small cut-outs and divits such as those found in the tattoos of Glory and Simple and Clean
It should not look like beadwork, you'll want Lampworked for that.

It will always have a halo (lighter or darker than base coat, ideally whte or black). The halo should be thin and can be uneven or broken up.

Glory here does not have wrought, he has tattoos, however his tattoos are a very good example of Wrought without the halo. The shapes are excellent!

Uncertain if your Shape is Wrought legal?
Let's take this example!

In its current state it is not wrought legal, lines are too thin, almost cybernetic!

Thankfully, that's an easy fix!

Thicken up the lines with a second color between them!
Congratulations your wrought is now recognizeable!
(Please note: the triangular divits in the central nuclear symbol would have been allowed but the artist preferred the shape without them)

NOISY WROUGHT

When the Modifier Gene "+Noi" is present, Wrought because "Noisy Wrought".
The "+Noi" Modifier has a 50% passrate but can only pass when attached to "nWro" or "WroWro"
Noisey Wrought is Wrought that looks like it's been broken apart. The bands get broken up and interrupted, and the halo takes on a mottled texture.

INTERACTION WITH OTHER MARKINGS

• All markings can be layered under or over Wrought
• When affected by Colorize Wrought can take on a THIRD color. It still can only have a pattern OR gradiant.
• Shatter CANNOT affect Wrought

ACCENTS

Here are some small accents you can add to your designs to make them more unique!
• Wrought can fade subtley into the base coat
• All markings can be layered under or over Wrought
