Attitude Toward Ketucari: Playfully competitive. Draien respects that they are renowned for their hunting ability, as is she. Unlike some gods, she does not fear ketucari in the slightest and will challenge them to show off their hunting prowess whenever the opportunity arises.

Notable Relationships

Kalet: Kalet has a very close bond with her first child in spite of (and perhaps because of) the scarce contact they had during Draien's first years of life. Although they don't see each other often now that Draien is grown, they are the best of friends and share many personality traits and quirks.

Gunagi: Draien has spent quite a bit of time around her grandfather Gunagi. Both are aware of their blood relation. Draien knows how loathed her grandfather is outside of the hibridi people, but she admires him. It is unclear if Gunagi actually feels anything for Draien, but he does seem smug to claim that the goddess of the hunt, so widely respected by Aegrians, is his granddaughter. Draien seems affectionate toward him and will sometimes fight alongside him.

Korun: Korun, a son of the destruction god Garoch, was a childhood friend of Draien's. They lost contact for a time when Draien went to live among the hibridi, but struck up a romantic relationship upon meeting again later in life.

Personality: Although she's the daughter of the judge Kalet, Draien is no warrior for good. Mischievous and sly, she is renowned for her hunting prowess and her tendency to set up traps for innocent passersby out of sheer playfulness. Unfortunately for her "playthings", her tricks are often deadly. The Ferokk Ravine gives her plenty of opportunities to see to both of her favorite hobbies. Draien's coat may not do much to hide her in the snow, but her ability to disguise herself as a shadow certainly does. Draien may sometimes seem amicable, even downright sweet-natured, but this can change as soon as something tickles her prey drive.

  Draien is the firstborn daughter of Kalet and her mate, a chaos from another world's pantheon. She has always been a wild child and a free spirit. She was made aware of her family history early on, and grew up knowing of her blood ties to the hibridi people. Always fascinated by them, she left home when she was a teenager in order to explore her roots. Although her mother wasn't particularly fond of her decisions, Draien quickly made herself known to her grandfather Gunagi. After proving herself capable of holding her own, she found a place of importance among Gunagi's tribe. She learned much about their customs, but after years of living among them her wanderlust caused her to leave them (on good terms). The hibridi regard her as "their" goddess and are proud that they share the same blood.
