Personality
Alignment: Notoriety
Personality: Halicaecus is a quiet demon. He isn't one for long-winded conversation, and tends to hold an air of mystery about him. He's a gluttonous god who hoards and consumes souls for entertainment, usually seeking the souls of the lost, and is never sated. Souls consumed by him are destroyed, seemingly converted into energy and magic for him to use at will. Halicaecus does not care for the company of other gods or creatures, and usually goes out of his way to avoid them, he enjoys privacy.
However it should be noted that if you promise to bring him offerings of flesh and blood, he is quick to strike a deal. Offering gifts such as wealth, power, and protection. This is a rarity, and usually does not last.
He speaks in silence, his voice a crashing wave in your mind. His presence is shifting and strong. It's not advised to engage him, he's extremely dangerous and does not care if those under his watch live or die.

History
Halicaecus is a mysterious demon who lurks in the foggy waters of Terendum. It's common knowledge that he preys on the souls of travelers who find themselves lost on the paths, drowning them before they can cry out for help. He is unkind, favoring the harsh reality of life and death as a means of ruling over his domain, and has been known to rise from the dark pools of water to punish those that are tipping his land into chaos. Those wishing to seek him out only need to follow the wisps in the swamp.
