Personality
Alignment: Lawful neutral (Honor)
Personality: Upon first impression, Somah can be described as big and dumb. Due to a hiccup in the mixing of his parents' genes, Somah has an insatiable appetite (to the point of being physically painful) and usually thinks with stomach first and foremost. The older he gets, the better he becomes at controlling his tendencies. Although he essentially lives his life in constant discomfort, he is a sweet and honorable man who seeks to provide for his loved ones and is willing to work hard to that end.

History
Somah is the result of a brief affair between Kohtoyasa's daughter Madukaar and an extraterrestrial creature known as an ark. Madukaar met Somah's other parent while exploring other planets in galaxies near Velukaelo and was disturbed upon discovering that the creature was parasitic and a massive danger to Velukaelo if allowed to get near it. She managed to turn it away with the help of her family, who were quite suspicious of Somah as a result of his bizarre parentage. Luckily, Somah turned out to take after his mother more than his other parent, aside from his heavily armored skin and massive appetite. It was decided early on that Somah's powers as god would be limited by the same ritual that was used on Zarakali as a precautionary measure regardless of his gentle nature.
Madukaar, who was still wary that her son might take a dangerous turn, chose to raise him in an unconventional way by living as a mortal with him. Making their home in an akadri town, Somah was taught respect for life, the value of hard work, and upholding his responsibilities as a distraction from his hunger. Once he was old enough, he was allowed to begin embracing his godly abilities little by little while managing to stay humble.
Still a young god, Somah spends most of his time in the town where he grew up, seeking to live a peaceful life with his mortal wife. Though Somah is capable of digesting virtually anything he can fit into his mouth, he has been encouraged to channel his appetite into culinary arts. He is a great chef and runs a small restaurant out of his hometown, a simple life choice that makes him an oddity among the gods.
