Relationships
Relatives: Duhhak (mate, deceased), Garoch (son with Duhhak), Anti (creator), 13 other constructs (siblings), Fenrir (current mate), several children with Fenrir, Veldon, Neretu, numerous other children of Garoch (grandchildren)
Garoch: Garoch, the current god of destruction, is Zadehdin's son with Duhhak. She has always been fiercely protective over him and had a bond with him that she at one time considered unbreakable. She was proven wrong when Garoch lost most of his memories after Duhhak and Hyperion's drastic effort to save him after he was nearly killed in a battle with Anti and Zarakali. Garoch does not remember enough of his mother to regard her with anything other than indifference, a painful fact that has caused her to keep her distance from him.
Hyperion: Zadehdin has a rocky relationship with her son's former best friend. Though they were never quite friends, Zadehdin appreciated the fact that he did not condemn her relationship with Duhhak. However, she later blamed Hyperion for "mutilating" Garoch's memories and nature as well as for Duhhak's death after the steps that were taken to save Garoch. Having experienced his fair share of loss, Hyperion harbors only the deepest respect and sympathy for Zadehdin, who has frequently made him a target of her vengeance. She considers him an enemy and antagonizes him at any chance she gets.
Other Constructs: Zadehdin considers her fellow constructs to be her family, even though they have their disagreements (particularly pertaining to her relationship with Duhhak and consequent questioning of Anti). When the other constructs were rounded up and imprisoned by the Judges, Zadehdin felt their loss deeply and secretly desires to free them, though she knows this is impossible given the odds.
Anti: As her creator, Anti holds a place of twisted affection in Zadehdin's mind. Like a young child toward their parent, Zadehdin initially did not question Anti's motives or actions and blindly followed him. When Duhhak began to win her over, he managed to begin chipping away at Zadehdin's almost fanatical loyalty to the dark god. It wasn't until after her fellow constructs were imprisoned that Zadehdin began to seriously question her allegiance, as the capture made Anti see them as incompetent and caused him to abandon them. Though she has essentially been forgotten by Anti, Zadehdin spent so much of her life dedicated to him that she still feels somewhat attached to him.
Notable Relationships
Duhhak: The previous god of destruction was Zadehdin's first love and the one who began to chip away at Anti's hold on her. Their relationship was widely criticized by the other gods. Zadehdin was never quite the same after Duhhak sacrificed himself to save their son Garoch (more information here).Garoch: Garoch, the current god of destruction, is Zadehdin's son with Duhhak. Personality
Alignment: Currently chaotic good (Neutral)
Personality: Once an aggressive, confident, and sadistic creature, the Zadehdin of recent years has shown herself to be cautious, aloof, and even fearful. While the mere mention of her name still dredges up fear in the locals, she is significantly less dangerous than she was in her youth. She prefers to stay away from strangers due to their often violent reactions toward her, opting instead to keep herself hidden in the ruins of the Wastes. Those who discover her lair are often frightened away by her immense size and earth-shaking warning growls. While she has been known to attack aggressors on occasion, she will always give intruders a chance to run.
