Relationships
Relatives: Hyperion, Okianis, Cronus (brothers), Aizak (mate, deceased), Hijau, Ghatri, Grute (children with Aizak), Riyeken (current mate), Karma and Nyssa (children with Riyeken)
Cronus: Cronus is rightfully wary of Zarakali, but appreciates her fierce spirit. The two of them seem to acknowledge each other's capabilities and do not ruffle each other's feathers. In arguments among the titans about right and wrong, Zara will often side with Cronus.
Okianis: In spite of everything Zarakali put the other titans through, Okianis feels that she can now be trusted and treats her with indifference. The two seem to have no quarrel, probably because Okianis isn't as fun for Zarakali to torment due to his unresponsiveness.
Aizak: Aizak was a creature who Zara met after the bridge was created between Velukaelo and the planet from which the companions of Oreki, Kohto, and many other gods hailed. He lived with Zara in her temple for a time before he passed away from old age. Though devastated by his death, Zara did not let it keep her down and was quick to recover.
Riyeken: Riyeken is Zara's current mate and the parent of her two youngest children. They hail from the same world as Aizak.
Notable Relationships
Hyperion: As the anchor that binds her brothers to the physical world, Zarakali is an essential part of Hyperion's life. This does not prevent them from harboring a mutual dislike. Created by Asli after her predecessor died, Zarakali was treated like an annoying little sister in her youth by the older titans. Hyperion in particular was apprehensive toward her, finding that her abrasive personality left something to be desired when compared to her forebear. As it turned out, Hyperion was right to be wary of her. Feeling that she was being held back and deserved more power than what she had, Zarakali used her abilities to weaken the titans when she sided with Anti during a scourge. She was singly responsible for the fate of Saoirse and her son, a crime for which she has never shown regret. Zarakali was eventually defeated and imprisoned by the titans. Against Hyperion's wishes, she was later released from her prison on the condition that her powers would be severely limited until she matured and could be trusted not to abuse them. Hyperion has never forgiven Zarakali for her betrayal, though he does force himself to tolerate her. She, on the other hand, loves that her existence bothers him and frequently harasses him with her malicious tricks.Cronus: Cronus is rightfully wary of Zarakali, but appreciates her fierce spirit.

Personality
Alignment: Chaotic neutral (Notoriety)
Personality: Zara is a complicated creature that is difficult to pin down. If she likes you or is indifferent to you, she is easy-going and carefree with a morbid sense of humor. However, even the slightest perceived insult can swiftly turn her opinion toward you and see you added to her long list of enemies. Land yourself on Zara's bad side, and she'll do everything she can to make your life a living hell-- usually enlisting her terrifying undead minions and spirits for some nasty pranks. Those in Zara's inner circle have more leeway with what they can get away with. Ambitious to a fault in her youth, Zara has calmed down significantly and is content living a simple life in her temple. She is a highly accessible goddess, allowing disciples to visit her temple and commune with her on a daily basis. In spite of her predatory appearance, Zara's diet consists only of the bamboo-like plant that grows in the forests surrounding her temple. On first impression, Zara strikes strangers as being very much the stoner type. She also has trouble with authority and highly values her personal freedom.

History
Although she quite a rocky start to her early life as a goddess (see above), Zarakali has become one of the most well-known and most visited gods in Velukaelo's pantheon. Her temple draws in shamans and seers as well as ordinary folk seeking to communicate with the dead. Though Zara's temple is staffed by the living, her personal attendants are undead in varying stages of decay, toward whom she is disturbingly affectionate and refers to a her "pets".
