A god from Another World, another Pantheon, who's attempts to manifest in his own world somehow dropped him into Velukaelo.

Noctis is an old and bitter creature. His memory stretches back tens of thousands of years in crystal clear detail. Over the millenia he's lost a good deal of the grand patience he once had, and his tolerance for what he considers bullshit. He's tactless, blunt, and speaks his mind, and cares little for what Mortals think of his morals, nor for their strange need to feel superior to each other.
By necessity he cares far more about the Big Picture than the small scale, though he avoids needless suffering if he can avoid it.

He typically presents himself as a doctor when in the realm of Mortals, though the truth is far more complicated. He can cure most any disease given the right tools and enough time, and will swear up and down in every mortal language while he does it. He's also happy to teach others.

When not working, Noctis often goes to small villages and tells stories of lore and legend and history to the locals, particularly children, and though he's a prickly asshole he does actually care a lot about people and their problems, and if an individual is able to tolerate his abrasiveness he's a fiercely loyal friend and companion who will give you nearly anything you can dream of.
