Mael usually appears quite distant to people not knowing him. If he melts and you aren't one of his circles it is because he wants something of you and is using his acting skill to wrap you around his little finger.  Mael is a very intellectually talented Ketukari. Brain instead of Brawn. His silver tongue is paired with very keen eyes and a high eq and a linguistic streak that stretches for miles. He is empathetic so much so that it can harm him. When his shields falter he cares, and very quickly he cares too much. He has a sweet voice, a great memory, and loves to spin tales as well as report the truth to the ones willing to listen. His sickness hangs like a cloud over him. But around the ones, he cares for he plays over his sorrow by putting on a show of smiles and optimism.  Playing a fantasy is easier than facing Reality and while Mael can’t indulge himself he happily indulges others. Trying to make the best of things in probably the worst way. Only allowing himself to break on his brother's shoulder.
