Lookie, I did it..!
"I'll do it!" a very small puffy kadin said just about the size of her mothers claws “I'll halp earn mons!!'' Her voice was small and excited as she bounced up and down in front of her tired parents, who smiled warmly at her.
"Oh loaf honey, you help out plenty already" Her mothers voice was soft and loaf could feel her feathers ruffle "U don fink I can do it??" the small cub put the tiniest paws to her chest with a tiny gasp, Causing both her parents to chuckle.
her fathers deep and warm voice speaking up next "with you're sweet wittle face we know you could do it! but maybe you can help us when you're a bit older hm?" Loaf looked between them and crossed her tiny paws with a huff as she pouted, she knew her protest would be brushed off but her pouting soon ended as her parents pulled her into a warm hug, full of nuzzles and licks that left her in a fit of giggles.
~
A soft whine was taken away by the cool midnight air of the desert, a small sandy kadin scrambling to regain her footing against the moving grains of sand, she barely managed to make it up and tentatively padded down the dune to avoid the risk of sliding again. It had taken all day to reach the grave markers ahead of her but she made it.
Padding up to them she gently set the red cloth she was holding down, fixed it and made sure no sand was on the muffins and coins, even going so far to wipe any sand off the wooden grave markers. with a warm smile she sat just a little before both her offering and the graves
"Look mama, papa, I did it! I made some gold just like I told you I would...I even made you some muffins!" She held back her tears as her voice trembled "I made sure to put extra love into them, I hope you like them! I love you both..."
