Often found in terendum, it is said that Babirye is a creature of death. Devoted to Sef, she will often make sacrifices to the goddess in an effort to appease her. She believes that death is not the end but a new begining and as such is not afraid of it. As such, she believes that when you die, your spirit remains, and will often do rituals accompanied by song in an effort to communicate with them. She believes that these songs open the gateway between her world and the spirit world.
