Menetas grew up in the traveling colour carnivale with his family. He's incredibly acrobatic and flexible due to years of mimicking the kets he grew up with. Upon reaching his late teen years, the black toa left the color carnivale when he met some others near his age and formed a quick but strong bond with them. Now he's ready to settle down in the world and form some bonds with his new family.

Menetas is a kind, excitable, eager to learn eager to please kind of ket who will likely mature into a peaceful, guiding kind of adult who looks out for those around him. He's always happy to be around people and has no qualms about sharing love- platonically or romantically.

After joining the pack of kets, he gave himself a new name that is sometimes used by the others in his pack, and sometimes just symbolic of joining their family. It is a phrase his mother told him that stuck with him: Chasing The Butterfly Leads To Beautifully Exciting Things. She told him this to encourage him to seek out what he loved. "One may never know what the butterfly has to show you lest you follow it, and should you get lost, it's only another step in the journey.
