Bonsai started life within the Singing Vale as a freelance mercenary and petty thief for the early years of her life and had to rely on cities to get by heavily.  She's a drifter with a knack for shiny things, collecting whatever shiny piece of gem and rock she can get her hands on to make a quick buck later.  After a few years of drifting and a large commotion over a new land she'd never seen, she wandered the isles of Zolkanis and settled in the Duskfall Forest, even making a friend along the way! A vanttor pup now often sleeps in her knapsack as she travels, munching extra rations Bonsai may have grabbed. They have not been partnered long!

Bonsai saved a strange toa's life while on her usual patrols for new gems or crystals, the wyverns tend to hoard. She's used to finding all the heldryite amongst the land but has ended up with her hands on some kind of new yellow gem(toresul) and a chain with a broken medallion on it...
