Pack Update!
Posted 9 months ago :: Last edited 9 months ago by AnarchieHey, everyone! Big news for packs! We know that they've been a little underutilized as of late, but we're hoping that this update will make them a little easier to use and also more entertaining!
Packs Now On Site
You can find the main information at the Pack Hub! This is linked on the dA page and will be in the resources dropdown within the next couple of days.
Most of the things are right where we left them, just ported to a site page, but there are some changes!
Pack Pages
Packs all have their own pages now, which can be found here! This page will be linked somewhere obvious soon, our sitemaster is working on it! (: If you want a thumbnail or new rank added to your pack, please feel free to contact an admin and we'll get you set up! (The thumbnails added now were mostly added to test the feature)
You can view player packs the regular way too, on the Player Pack list! This is just a neat new feature.
We also have a heavily updated Group-Owned Packs list (previously called Canon Packs), which includes the newer packs displayed on starters more recently!
PVP
Territory Wars PVP is back! We figured out a couple of ways to do it that would be fair to both packs. We now have Wagers and Sieges.
For Wagers, both packs must already have territory. Each pack wagers one of their own territory subzones, and the other pack will attempt their claim in that subzone. Whoever has the most successes in the end will win the wagered territory, and they will not lose their wagered territory!
Sieges occur when both packs want the same territory. The claim works similarly to a PVE Territory Wars claim, except that KVKs, if done, should be between the pack members. Like wagers, the pack with the most successes will win the territory!
If two packs doing PVP are owned by the same person, this is allowed, but multiple people have to join in the claim in both packs to make things fair.
Pack Hoard
The pack hoard is now handled through the site! Members who have a ketucari that leads a pack should be able to transfer items in and out of their pack hoard. If you want to add a treasurer (or the same role in another name) to your pack, please ask an admin! We would be happy to help.
Pack hoards should generally be used to aid the pack, and pack hoards being used solely for personal gain may be cause for a warning or ban. Please be courteous!
Allying Deities
Allying Deities is now easier than ever! Offerings have been boosted by 10x, and trade goods have been boosted by various different rates as well! Also, Deities now ally permanently, and can ally to multiple packs at once! As a result, the threshhold to ally tier 2 and 3 deities is now higher. We hope this makes the feature far more enjoyable and easy to use!
Misc. New Stuff
Other than that, most of the new stuff is that creating a pack and buying slots for it are now handled through comments on site rather than in dA notes!
Go ahead and check it out if you feel like it, we hope you enjoy it and that it's convenient for you!
