Character: Found lost and alone during a harsh winter in Shalekesh, she was found just in the nick of time by Lanfen, who immediately took her someplace warm and nursed her back to health. The fantail had no clue whether Shalheira had been abandoned or if her family had had to split up under unfavorable circumstances, but no one stepped up and claimed the cub as their own, and so Lanfen decided to raise the small olive as if she were her own daughter. Shalheira grew to be a calm, gentle, soft-spoken kaden, kind and respectful towards others. As soon as Shalheira was old enough, she struck out on her own and met a handsome toa named Thistle. The two hit it off quickly and eventually became mates, going everywhere together... but one day a fire broke out at a village they were visiting. Flames and smoke filled the air, and the two got separated... and both assumed the other was dead. Now Shalheira stays close to her foster mother's side, often helping her sell merchandise to fellow travelers or providing food and herbs when needed. She does her best to remain positive and optimistic, but she still constantly thinks of her assumed-to-be-deceased mate, unable to get him off of her mind...  She only has a few close friends; Grave Child, Faolan, and Rhajii, whom she all met in her travels... and who she is incredibly protective over.
