Character: Dahlia was born sick, from the day she opened her eyes to the day she closed them for what she though was the last time. Her chronic illness meant near constant pain, and with that pain came severe depression. Dahlia craved release from her pain, but there was one thing keeping her going, her mate, the tiny but fierce kadin Sparrow. Her little song bird she loved to call her. Wherever Dahlia went Sparrow was always right beside her, her small but perfect shadow. The love the two shared was unbreakable, Sparrow often telling Dahlia that she was her whole life. Lia kept her illness hidden well enough from Sparrow, but they both knew the truth, Dahlia was in pain, and it often kept the two from doing the things they wanted to. Though Sparrow promised her lover that none of it mattered Dahlia knew her lover wanted to be able to do these things badly. As her illness grew steadily worse so did Dahlia's depression, and so did Sparrows desperation to try and find a cure for her mate.  Dahlia knew there was no cure, for she'd already tried everything, she also knew she couldn't bear to keep Sparrow tied down any longer. She'd had enough of her pain, and one fateful night when Sparrow was out shopping for some things Dahlia had told her she needed, she traveled to the highest building she could reach in Messus...and jumped.  She didn't know her mate had seen her fall, didn't know the damage she had truly done to the young pure hearted kadin she loved so dearly. What she did know was that one moment she was dead, and the next she was waking up in the waters of the tarn, a cruel looking toa who called himself Atticus grinning down at her. "I saved you, brought you back to life and cured you of that awful illness always dragging you down..." She could only stare. "Because of that...you are now mine." Dahlia now acts as Rairakku and Atticus' best soldier, numbly following orders, because they had made it very clear to her, if she disobeyed, if she even TRIED to find Sparrow again, they would kill the tiny kadin with no hesitation. She may have escaped one pain, but now she's stuck dealing with an entirely different kind of pain.
