Character:

Khylus is the son of Tidalwave and his father is very proud of him. As such he knows the privilege of being a favorited child of a powerful man, and is inherently respected and treated like royalty by those who know Tidalwave, or the army's reputation. This privilege has not necessarily made him mean, haughty, or entitled. He has plenty of time to grow into the ketucari he will become, as he's just a cub. One thing he craves though, is a sibling relationship he can't seem to have. His siblings are significantly older than him, and there are several he isn't even aware of having. Knowing he's a favorited child, Anaxus steers clear of him, not wanting to interact with Tidal and accidentally get on his bad side. Khylus looks up to The Icepick immensely. He thinks his elder brother is the coolest and best warrior he's ever seen, and if the cub could have it his way, he'd be stuck to his brother's side like glue. The Icepick gives Khylus, much like everyone else around him, a cold shoulder. Deep down, he's a tad jealous of his youngest brother's favored position in Tidal's eyes, and has a fear taking root, ever so slowly, that the pink toa might be being replaced by him. Only time will be able to tell what this will do to the brothers' relationship. Tavir on the other hand, is the closest Khylus has to a friendly sibling, but she's often busy on missions of her own. She would be a great mentor to him if only they had more time together.

Deep beneath Khylus' fluffy exterior a growing power lurks. Tidal brought him home to their base camp for his own purposes. The cunning toa would never simply bestow "love" on a cub just for being his lineage. Tidal keeps a close watch on his offspring for any hints as to what his new prodigy could become.... and how he could use him for his gain.
