Eden loved his gods, almost as much as his best friend. He followed them loyally, every task they gave him he would gladly fulfill. After all they found him, a newly born being of divine energy, and gave him a home.

He was so beloved by his gods followers sometimes it would come to his mind that he was more loved than the gods, maybe he  should be the one in charge. Maybe.

He began to grow restless with the realization that, though his gods did wonderful things, they could do so much more...they could...give him so much more. If he had more power then maybe he could become a god himself. Maybe he would be better than his gods...right? His desire for power and for worship began to grow from an ember to a burning flame within Eden, so much so he began to grow envious of his gods.

Why weren't they better to him? Why didn't they thank him properly, why did they assume he was to be their slave forever? His desire for independence began to grow just as hot as his need for power and the urge to make his gods followers...HIS followers.

His beautiful desire, his best friend, tried so hard to keep him on the right path. He should have listened to them.

One night he began to plot and plan, and the next day he came down to his followers in the form of a ketucari, which he and his gods often did to visit their loyal followers.

He found a group of followers that were exceptionally loyal to him, and began to pull them to his side, promising them power alongside him and lying, twisting his words and assuring the followers that his gods fully supported him coming into power as a god himself.

However when his gods caught wind of these whispersings, this 'plan' they decided to punish Eden, by taking from him what he cherished most. His beloved best friend.

Thinking this would break Eden back into their loyal follower the gods left him. If only they knew.

Eden's fire was now fueled not just by desire, but anger, rage, the need for revenge. So he continued with his plot, and when he spoke of the truth to a smaller band of his followers their anger burned with him. They formed what could only be called a cult, and began a ritual to empower him with the strength needed to fell his gods.

The ritual was working it seemed, as his own divine form began to twist and change from angelic follower to terriffying demon of desire and rage. He was ready to kill his gods. Unfortunately his gods had friends.

Other gods, powerful gods, ones that, when teamed with his own, were able to strike him down over and over, forcing him to relive his most painful memories imprisoned in a hell of the gods own making, intending to keep him there, burning for eternity.

The gods left him there, to burn, to weep, to relive losing his cherished one.

They didn't bother to think of his cult...of his loyal followers.

They definitely didn't think his cherished one would rise once more...and that they would fight to free him, no matter the cost.

The gods are in for a nasty surprise.
