Rosa is a small, nervous kadin. Being the runt of her litter, she was nearly culled, and only saved by the miraculous intervention of Teeth, who was visiting the pack at the time. Rosa was resultingly raised with a lot of love but little socialization and a Lot of bottle feeding when Teeth failed to find a wetnurse willing to feed a runt.

She stayed small. But she was taught how to protect herself. But her lack of social skills soon caught up to her, and her small size did her no favors. Soon Rosa had learned to keep to the edges of groups, of civilization, much like her mother had. Unlike her mother though, she could often not Remain at the edge. Inevitably being noticed and pulled into interactions she doesn't understand nor know how to escape from short of litearlly running away.

Which is how she wound up meeting Rhythm.
