He had a name once...a life, a best friend and a promising future...

 

A horrific attack left him dead.

 

A mysterious pair of siblings brought him back, not with magic or the tarn, but with medicine and technology.

He was not his own anymore. The machines attached to his body not only give him extra strength and agility but keep him alive they are wired to his spine, spinal cord and nervous system, his chest cavity is entirely artificial, tubes and machinery keeping his heart beating and his lungs breathing, allowing him to keep living and pumping medication to help regulate his pain. Though it never eliminates his pain completely.

The machinery and wiring keeping him alive also controls his mind to an extent, more so, it controls his body. He is completely aware and conscious of what he is doing, but if his 'creators' decide they want him to do something, he can not stop his body from doing so. Fighting the control ends in crippling agony every time.

He has learned not to fight.

He does their bidding, plays their game. He doesn't see an end to his suffering.
