Merhab is... difficult to describe. Entirely too astute, observant to a fault. Was recruited into military black-ops for more than just skill with explosives. Not skill with Dasrah, mind you, but skill with explosives. While Merhab is friendly, one must always remember that friendliness can be a trap.

No one is quite sure when, why, or how Merhab left the military. Supposedly it has something to do with family, as Merhab takes that quite seriously.  With a sibling in The Vanguard, Merhab quickly followed suit. Presumably, permission was obtained, as the military has left Merhab and Mitra alone.

Merhab gets along swimmingly with Kestrel and his crew.

Merhab is an explosive specialist, and proud of it. Will natter on endlessly if allowed to about the delicate work that is controlled (and uncontrolled) detonations. Interestingly, Merhab has no skill in the use of Dasrah magic, but instead a very strong lean towards Talik.  Merhab also takes pride in being able to create non-lethal, but effective explosives that perform tasks such as slowing targets down, and recently developed (and patented) a specialized wide-area sticky bomb for use by members of The Vanguard and anyone Kestrel may deign to provide the explosives to.
